Cellulose Insulation
At Priority North Insulation, are dedicated to taking on the hard work and challenges that come with our projects, ensuring that every job is to the highest standard. We have chosen cellulose insulation as our preferred material because it offers numerous advantages over other competing products. Its denser and heavier nature allows for superior air sealing capabilities and a higher R-value per inch, which means it exceptionally well in extreme cold conditions. Additionally, cellulose insulation provides excellent sound dampening qualities, contributing to a more peaceful living environment. By using this high-quality insulation, we aim to give our clients a durable solution that enhances their home's comfort and longevity, Proudly serving Central Ontario.

What Is Cellulose Insulation?
Cellulose insulation is a high-performance, loose-fill insulation made primarily from recycled paper fibers. It’s designed to create a dense, consistent thermal barrier that fills gaps, voids, and hard-to-reach spaces more effectively than traditional insulation materials.
Because it conforms around wiring, framing, and irregular cavities, cellulose provides excellent thermal coverage and helps reduce unwanted air movement throughout the home.
Is Cellulose Insulation Safe?
Yes. Cellulose insulation is treated with fire-retardant minerals that make it fire resistant, mold resistant, and pest resistant. These treatments are non-toxic and have been safely used in residential construction for decades.
Cellulose is commonly installed in existing homes and new builds alike and is recognized for its safety, durability, and long-term performance when properly installed.

Why Choose Cellulose Insulation?
Cellulose insulation offers several performance advantages that make it a preferred choice for many homeowners.
Superior Air Sealing
Cellulose packs tightly into wall and attic cavities, helping reduce air movement and drafts for more consistent indoor comfort.
Excellent Thermal Performance
Its dense composition slows heat transfer effectively, helping keep homes warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
Effective Sound Control
Cellulose absorbs sound well, making it an excellent option for reducing noise between rooms and from outside sources.
Environmentally Responsible
Made largely from recycled materials, cellulose is one of the most eco-friendly insulation options available.
Ideal for Existing Homes
Cellulose can be added to walls and attics with minimal disruption, making it especially effective for retrofits and insulation upgrades.
